Outside the wreck of the old McEwan’s Brewery. A little ironic, maybe, as that dirt pile has been there at least as long as we’ve been in Edinburgh.

This brought back a Girl Scout camp memory from the very dusty archives – the older girls telling the younger that the red vines of a similar looking plant were “Indian chewing gum,” good to hold off hunger. They were actually very sour and turned your teeth bright red. Not that I fell for it. No. *shifty eyes*
